SUBDUE STRESS

Stress is a natural feeling of not being able to cope with work, relationships, financial pressures, and facing any challenges or threats to a person’s well-being can also cause stress which can interfere with your ability to deal with physical illness. Working mommies are particularly responsible for both work and home duties that can mean more stress.  

 

Stress can prompt everything from muscles tense, insomnia and lowered immunity to mood swings and weight gain.  However, we can work to handle it in healthy ways of healthy and balanced diets together with regular exercises to increase the potential to recover.

Chronic pain is a significant health problem in the adult population of Hong Kong. The number of adults affected by chronic pain exceeds 560,000. Female gender and advanced age were identified as risk factors. This is significant impact of chronic pain on daily life and work. However, pain sufferers did not seem to be satisfied with the medical treatment they were receiving.
